I am a member of NiceTri Club St Neots. I got in to triathlons rather late (I was 12!) after my running coach suggested I enter an Aquathlon - trouble was, I couldn't even swim! I had to learn to swim 300m in 1 month. I managed it, a slow time, but I managed it - I even came second in my age group.
I
enjoyed competing in this race so much that I then wanted to do a
'proper' triathlon - swim, bike and run. First I needed a bike so we
bought a Giant OCR from ebay. I completed
my first junior triathlon soon after that. It
has just grown and grown for me, getting more competitive as the
seasons go by.
2014 has been an amazing year for me:

ITU World Duathlon AG champion
ETU European Triathlon AG Sprint champion
English Under 20 Triathlon AG Sprint champion
Again, I have pre-qualified for the European and World championships in both Duathlon and Triathlon.
